Royal Ludina is a special beer brewed by Rockin' Ludina Brewery in Groningen for King's Day 2018. This beer blends Weizen and Bock characteristics: smooth and gently bitter with pronounced maltiness that shines on cooler days. Rockin' Ludina was founded in 2015 by Sjoerd Tjio and Devin Ummels, both from Groningen's Café De Toeter. The brewery's early batches were crafted aboard the historic 1910 tjalk Ludina, a vessel that inspired its name. Royal Ludina reflects the brewery's commitment to distinctive, carefully crafted beers.
