Gerlachus Beumerwalder is a bottom-fermented Dortmunder Export from the Gerlachus Bierbrouwerij & Beerstokerij in Hulsberg, Limburg, brewed at 6% ABV. Originally released in 2016 to great success, it was brought back by popular demand. The brewery's philosophy shines through: quality regional ingredients, clean water, and no unnecessary fuss. The beer pours a hazy golden colour with a modest white head. Aromas of sweet malt and grain introduce the palate, where malt sweetness and full-bodied character define the experience. A straightforward, honest interpretation of the Dortmunder style.
