Pistonhead Full Amber is an amber lager brewed by Swedish craft brewery Brutal Brewing, established in 2011. This is no ordinary lager: it combines Pilsner, dark caramel, Crystal and Melanoidin malts with American Cascade, Citra and Centennial hops to create something more adventurous. The palate opens with malty sweetness, then unfolds spiced orange, grapefruit, clove and lemongrass notes. A full-bodied beer with a clean, hoppy finish that defies lager convention. At 6% ABV, it carries enough presence to support its complex flavour profile without tasting heavy.
