Oppigårds Bryggeri's Thurbo Double IPA from Hedemora, Sweden, is a forceful imperial IPA with a sturdy orange-copper hue. This beer packs more malt, more hops and more alcohol than most releases from the brewery—so robust that the historic Thurbo power station adorns the label. Columbus, Citra, Cascade, Nugget and Chinook hops deliver a complex hop bitterness of 74 IBU. Pilsner and Carapils malts create a full, malty body that carries the assertive hop character.
