Zuster Agatha Houtgerijpt from Muifelbrouwerij is an ambitious quadrupel from Oss that has matured for months in wooden vessels. This winter release combines the full, robust character of the original recipe with subtle wood influence that adds extra dimension to the beer.

It pours chestnut brown to deep red with a beige head. The nose shows fruit, raisins and lightly roasted malt, enhanced by wood maturation. The palate is complex and full-bodied, yet surprisingly smooth in the finish with dry notes and a sweet aftertaste.
