Hert Vijlener Bosbier is a Belgian Strong Golden Ale from Brasserie Grain d'Orge in Hombourg. This family-run brewery, established in 2002 by Benoît and Viviane Johnen, crafts beers with natural ingredients and spices. This blonde ale at 7.5% ABV combines pale malts with hints of Munich malt, balanced by noble hops offering soft, mild bitterness. The beer displays a light golden colour with a coarse, stable head. Aromas reveal caramel, biscuit and toffee notes, with subtle floral hop character. On the palate, caramel and white bread flavours dominate, bringing pronounced sweetness. The finish is well-rounded, with gentle warmth befitting the alcohol strength.
