Karlovačko is the flagship beer of Karlovačka Pivovara, a Croatian brewery founded in 1854 in Karlovac. This pale lager displays a golden-yellow colour and a refreshingly bitter character with moderate intensity. Brewed with four natural ingredients—water, barley malt, hops and yeast—it represents a straightforward approach to lager brewing. The palate is clean and grainy, with bread-like malt notes providing structure. Aromas lean towards grain and malt, with the faintest citrus hint. A well-balanced, unpretentious lager suited to everyday drinking, rooted in Central European brewing tradition.
