K.E.G.S.' Primal Rye is a rye bock built around a heritage grain. St. Jans rye, an ancient variety, anchors this beer and delivers its distinctive spiced character. On the palate, caramel and fruit emerge alongside the rye's peppery bite. The sweet malt backbone is tempered by the grain's inherent spice and a slightly oily texture that lingers.
