Huttenkloas Tripel is one of the stronger beers from the Albergen-based brewery Huttenkloas. This copper-coloured tripel is brewed with rye and wheat, creating a distinctly fruity character through high fermentation. The beer opens with pleasant sweetness and fresh notes, followed by spicy undertones. Bottle conditioning provides ample carbonation, making it surprisingly drinkable despite its 8.5% ABV. The brewery, named after the medieval Twente highwayman Klaas Annink, has been crafting diverse beers for over two decades with passion and care. This Tripel is a beer to be savoured slowly.
