Birra Ichnusa has been Sardinia's pride since 1912. This traditional lager is brewed in Assemini, near the island's capital Cagliari, using pure barley malt and carefully selected hops. The name derives from the Greek word for 'footprint'—a nod to the beer's deep roots in Sardinian history. The beer develops its distinctive character during four weeks of maturation before bottling.
