This Dutch craft interpretation sits at 5.8% ABV, bridging the gap between the historic German character and contemporary brewing. The nose reveals toasted malt and bread-like warmth, with a restrained smoky edge. On the palate, smoked grain takes centre stage, accompanied by subtle meaty notes and a full malt body. The finish remains dry and clean, allowing the smoke to linger without overwhelming the underlying sweetness.
