Gulpener Korenwolf
Gulpener Korenwolf is a four-grain witbier from South Limburg, embodying a thirty-year partnership between the brewery and the region's rare hamster, the Korenwolf, after which it is named. This witbier earned gold as the Netherlands' best witbier in 2024 at the Dutch Beer Challenge.
Barley, wheat, spelt and rye form the foundation of a refreshing beer that balances fresh, sweet and spicy notes. Coriander seed, orange peel and elderflower contribute to its classic witbier character, with pleasant fruity esters and a subtle spicy interplay. The result is a well-rounded beer with good head retention, equally at home as a summer refresher or alongside shellfish and seafood.
