Grutte Pier Tripel is a robust beer from the Frisian brewery of the same name, brewed with three grains: barley, wheat and oats. This unfiltered, top-fermented tripel delivers a full, malty foundation with fruity character and a distinctive spicy edge. The finish balances sweetness with gentle bitterness. At 7.5% ABV, this tripel manages to be surprisingly approachable despite its strength. The nose shows fruit and noble hop character, while the palate presents a blend of malt sweetness, citrus and herbal-spicy notes that linger pleasantly.
