Fungtn Reishi Citra is a low-alcohol IPA (0.5%) from The Fungtional Brew Company in London, brewed with adaptogenic reishi mushroom. The beer combines heritage pale malts and rye with Hersbruker and Citra hops to deliver a fresh, juicy character. Reishi contributes natural bitterness and earthy depth. On the nose, citrus and tropical fruit aromas lead. The palate is bright and fruity with a tangy, sweet-sour balance. Hop bitterness builds steadily but remains measured, while the earthy reishi lingers subtly beneath. A hint of caramel sweetness rounds the mid-palate, finishing dry and moreish.
