Kaap de Goeie Hop is an American IPA brewed by Familiebrouwerij Diks in Den Burg, created exclusively for beachside pavilion Kaap Noord on Texel. In 2024, this beer was named House Beer of the Year by hospitality magazine Entree, which praised it as 'refreshingly light yet powerful, with beautiful hops'. Crafted from four malt varieties, this IPA strikes an approachable balance between drinkability and flavour. The nose is hoppy and fruity, with a characteristic grapefruit bitterness that elegantly carries through the finish. It is a beer designed to be savoured, particularly on the terrace with a view.
