Simcoe and Citra hops combine to deliver a tropical and piney punch: passionfruit, grapefruit and pine define the aroma and flavour. The taste is remarkably approachable for 8% ABV. Orange zest, tangerine and citrus notes mingle with papaya and mango. The body is soft and pillowy with restrained carbonation that makes the beer dangerously easy to drink. The finish dries out with a touch of earthy hop bitterness. This is a well-balanced double IPA where the intense fruit-forward hop character never tips into harshness.
