Brouwerij De Troch, with over 200 years of brewing heritage, crafts this Oude Gueuze using traditional spontaneous fermentation. It is a blend of young and aged lambics, where the younger component brings fresh tartness and the mature stock contributes complexity and dryness. The beer pours clear golden with minimal head. On the nose, musty notes emerge alongside candied grapefruit. The palate is intense and dry with spritzy character, revealing sour green apple, grapefruit and white grape, rounded by subtle oak and leather undertones. Medium-strong carbonation creates a lively, oily texture. The finish remains sour and dry, delivering the characteristic snap expected from a true Oude Gueuze.
