Noorderlicht from Naeckte Brouwers is a light-coloured Saison-farmhouse beer at 7.5% ABV, brewed in Amstelveen. Founded in 2011 by Michel Lagrand and Ab van der Veen, the brewery pursues 'the new beer of yesterday'—classical, subtle and suited to food pairing. This beer is dry and refreshing with a moderately bitter finish. Light in colour and lighter in body than many traditional Saisons, it makes for an approachable, thirst-quenching choice.
