Elegast is an impressive quadrupel from Naeckte Brouwers in Amstelveen, brewed in Belgian style. At 10% ABV, this copper-hued amber beer delivers a full, warming taste. The profile is marked by ripe red fruit and raisins, supported by pleasant sweetness. Naeckte Brouwers, founded in 2011 by Michel Lagrand and Ab van der Veen, brews according to their philosophy of "the new beer of old times". The brewery uses only water, barley malt, wheat malt, rye, oats, hops and yeast – no additives. Since 2022, nearly all beers are certified organic. Elegast finishes with refined bitterness and pairs well with food.
