Oehoe Donker from De Heidebrouwerij in Ede is a robust Bock at 7.5% ABV. Founded in 2005, the brewery names all its beers after the nature of the Veluwe region – the eagle owl (oehoe) symbolises strength and character. This dark brown to deep red beer offers a complex interplay of roasted malt, caramel and coffee. The palate is rich and spiced, with fruity notes that blend with the warmth of alcohol. The mouthfeel begins warm and alcoholic, then evolves into a pleasant spicy finish that lingers.
