Librije's Kopstoot is a blonde specialty beer from Brouwersnös in Groenlo, where craft-brewed beer and gin meet in an unconventional blend. The base combines barley malt, spelt malt, wheat malt and rye malt, infused with Jonnies Gastro Gin. This gin is steeped for three weeks with huacatay, a Peruvian herb that brings fresh, spicy character to the beer. The taste is intense and challenging: fresh and herbal with citrus and herbal notes from the gin infusion. The finish reveals subtle hop bitterness that echoes the aromatic complexity. At 6.6% alcohol, this beer delivers full flavour without heaviness.
