Brouwersnös in Groenlo crafts this strong bock using traditional methods: open fermentation in copper vessels followed by maturation in wooden barrels. The base beer undergoes complex fermentation before aging, developing pronounced chocolate notes from the wood alongside vanilla, toast, and soft caramel. The barrel's influence creates a warm, layered taste experience with satisfying depth. This is the second release in Brouwersnös's annual Barrel Aged series, each year presenting a unique interpretation. At 8% ABV, it delivers full body and a complex finish that pairs well with rich meat and spiced dishes.
