Brouwerij 't Meuleneind from Hoeven in the Netherlands presents a Quadrupel aged entirely in Cognac barrels. This is a dark and full-bodied beer at 10% ABV. The brewery, founded by brewer Jan who grew up in the Zeeland village of Westkapelle, specializes in barrel-aged specialty beers, each matured on unique wooden casks within their own facility.

The Barrel Project series is known for its differentiated approach: each beer matures on different barrels, creating characteristic variation per batch. The 20.08 edition delivers the full, warming complexity of a Quadrupel enhanced by the refined influence of Cognac barrel maturation.
