Hopwit from Brouwerij Witte Anker in Breda is a witbier distinguished by its hop-forward approach. Brewed to the Reinheitsgebot standard using only malt, yeast, hops and water, this beer draws its character entirely from these four core ingredients. The brewery, housed in a historic building where beer has been made since 1647, was founded by two friends united by a passion for honest, quality beer. Fresh and fruity on the nose, with tropical and citrus aromatics. The palate brings a spiced dimension, solid hop presence without harshness, and a crisp acidity that tingles on the tongue. The finish is flavourful and lingers, with subtle bitterness that rounds out the whole.
