Van Hoppen was founded in 2019 with a straightforward philosophy: brewing beers for friendship, so everyone can enjoy them with friends. This Dubbel offers a lightly sweet, highly approachable take on the classic Belgian style. It presents with a chestnut-brown colour and a slightly hazy appearance that invites you in. Brewed with four different malts and two aromatic hop varieties, the beer achieves a balanced profile of malty sweetness and subtle bitterness. High-temperature fermentation brings out characteristic fruity notes. At 6.5% alcohol, it drinks smoothly and accessibly without becoming heavy or cloying.
