Space Cowboy is an ambitious Imperial Matcha Porter from Brouwerij Maximus in Utrecht, part of their Circus Maximus series. This robust 9.5% ABV beer builds on an earlier collaboration with Gigantic Brewing Co. from Portland and draws inspiration from Japanese matcha flavours.

The beer marries full, sweet porter character with an unexpected twist: hints of green tea and matcha work alongside chocolate and cacao nibs. The finish brings a subtle vanilla note, while lactose adds extra smoothness. An unconventional blend that brings East and West together in one full, complex drink.
