Tanzglätte is the second instalment in Atelier Vrai's ambitious Pommes & Disco series, a German craft brewery from Hessen known for experimental brewing methods. This Imperial IPA at 8.4% ABV is crafted in their small studio using five dedicated brewing systems, drawing on a diverse malt library and unconventional ingredients to shape the final character. The nose presents bright citrus and tropical fruit notes—pineapple and peach stand out clearly. On the palate, the beer delivers its full strength with a juicy, fruity centre balanced by assertive hop bitterness that complements rather than overwhelms the alcohol warmth. The finish is dry and crisp, leaving a clean, lingering aftertaste.
