System Overload is an Imperial IPA from Brouwerij Frontaal in Breda, brewed in collaboration with Norwegian brewery Lervig. At 10% ABV, this bold beer showcases New Zealand hops—Nelson Sauvin, Pacific Sunrise, Kohatu and Motueka—delivering a full spectrum of tropical and stone fruit character. The aroma leaps from the glass: intense tropical fruit with mango, passion fruit and grapefruit notes, layered with spicy and floral hop complexity. The palate follows with a juicy, fruit-forward attack, stone fruit and citrus tones playing against a substantial malt backbone and restrained hop bitterness. This is an ambitious release from a brewery that has grown from its 2014 roots on Breda's STEK industrial site to become one of the Netherlands' most respected independent craft breweries.
