Durs Blonde Bevrijder is a crisp blonde ale brewed by Brouwerij Durs in Velp with barley and wheat malt, sugar, hops and yeast. The beer is named after English soldiers who fought at Arnhem in September 1944 during Operation Market Garden. It presents itself as a clear blonde with a firm white foam head. Honey and floral notes emerge on the nose. The palate is lightly sweet with subtle bitterness and a fresh, sparkling finish. An approachable and drinkable beer suited to various occasions.
