Drunken Sailor is an English-style IPA from CREW Republic, a German brewery that won the World Beer Awards in 2024. Four hop varieties combine to create a fruity, lightly spiced IPA with a pronounced bitter finish. The nose opens with tropical fruit and citrus notes, followed by pine and resinous hop aromas. On the palate, sweetness and bitterness strike a pleasing balance, supported by a biscuity malt foundation. The finish is dry with lingering dank and pine character that extends the drinking experience.
