Leffe Royale Whitbread Golding is a strong golden ale brewed in Leuven by Anheuser-Busch InBev. Created in 2003 to celebrate the 90th birthday of head brewer Papegaei, this Belgian Strong Ale pairs a sweet, grainy malt foundation with refined bitterness from the Whitbread Golding hop variety, which contributes subtle lemon notes. At 7.5% ABV, this is a sophisticated beer with an elegant, dry finish. Brewed from pale malt with a touch of corn adjunct, it achieves a smooth balance.
