Franziskaner Hefe-Weissbier Naturtrub is a naturally cloudy Bavarian wheat beer from Munich, brewed by Spaten-Franziskaner-Bräu. This unfiltered Hefeweizen blends wheat and barley malts into an elegant, refreshing pour crowned with a thick white head and copper-golden hue. Warm, bready malt flavours give way to fruity notes of banana and citrus, with a discreetly spicy finish. Top fermentation at warmer temperatures creates the beer's characteristic fruity esters and phenolic spice. At 5% ABV, it is an accessible and refined wheat beer. Naturtrub refers to the natural cloudiness of the unfiltered style. Franziskaner has brewed since 1363, and merged with Spatenbrau in 1922 to form one of the world's oldest brewing houses.
