Avereest's Turfbok is a traditional bock brewed specifically for autumn, reviving a brewing tradition dormant for over a century in the Reestdal. The beer honours Roelof Veeningen, who supplied peat workers with beer starting in 1818. Chocolate malt delivers characteristic notes of chocolate and coffee, complemented by mature fruit character. The result is a full-bodied, malty bock with caramel sweetness and a subtle hint of peat that echoes its name and heritage.
