Bronckhorster Brewing Company from Rha created this Quadrupel as part of their Barrel Aged Serie, aged in Macallan whisky casks. The result is a full-bodied expression of their BBC Four base beer, at 12.5% ABV, with plum aromas and the distinctive character imparted by whisky barrel maturation.

This release showcases the brewery's experimental approach: a single 2000-litre batch of base beer yielded five distinct variants, each developing its own fruity profile through different barrel aging. A craft-focused methodology where the Macallan cask maturation adds considerable depth and complexity to the final beer.
