La Trappe Dubbel is an authentic Trappist ale from De Koningshoeven Brewery in Berkel-Enschot, Netherlands. Brewed by the monks according to traditional recipes, it uses only natural ingredients: barley, hops, yeast and water from the abbey's own spring. The deep brown ale delivers a full, malty character with pronounced caramel sweetness. Subtle notes of dates, honey and dried fruit emerge on the palate. Bottle conditioning allows the beer to continue developing in the glass, adding complexity over time. Smooth and rounded in body with warming alcohol presence and a lingering finish. A well-balanced Trappist that rewards both immediate enjoyment and patient cellaring.
