Trooper Progressive Lager is a hoppy German lager from CREW Republic, created in collaboration with Iron Maiden. This sessionable 5% beer balances accentuated bitterness with intense hop aroma. The nose reveals resinous pine and citrus peel notes. On the palate, a firm hop bitterness takes centre stage, complemented by citrus and herbal spice flavours, with grainy malt sweetness in the background. The finish is clean and dry, with a lighter body than expected and lively carbonation that remains refreshing throughout.
