Charles Quint is a blonde special beer from Brouwerij Haacht, named after the famous emperor who, according to legend, always carried a barrel of beer on his travels. This top-fermented ale is brewed with barley malt, hop bitters and yeast.

At 8.5% alcohol, this is a robust blonde beer with a spicy hop aroma. The flavour balances pleasant bitterness with a dry finish, where the hop character comes through elegantly without overwhelming the palate.
