Jan van Dalfsen is a tripel brewed by Ambachtelijke Vechtdal Brouwerij in Dalfsen, a brewery with a distinctive social mission. Since 2015, professional brewers and volunteers have worked together with people facing barriers to employment. The beer's name honours the zomp skippers who transported goods along the Vecht river until 1920—a piece of local heritage that continues to inspire the brewery today. This 9% ABV tripel balances sweetness, bitterness and fruity notes. It reflects the brewery's craft ethos: thoughtfully made, purposefully brewed, and shaped by community.
