Deugniet is a dark bock beer from Brasserie du Bocq, the independent Walloon brewery established in 1858 in Purnode-Yvoir. This seasonal beer displays a warm, full-bodied character where roasted malt, caramel, and spice notes interweave. The aroma is complex and inviting, while the palate remains accessible despite its substance. A traditional autumn bock suited to richer dishes and darker, aromatic preparations. At 6.5% ABV, Deugniet carries enough weight without heaviness. Caramel and liquorice notes give the beer character and warmth, while the finish remains clean and pleasant.
