Schultenbräu NEIPA is a sessionable New England IPA from German brewer Schultenbräu, available through ALDI. This unfiltered beer brings the fruity, tropical character of the NEIPA style to an approachable 4.9% ABV. The beer presents a hazy golden colour with a generous head. On the nose, grapefruit, peach and lime emerge alongside subtle notes of blueberry. The palate shows a soft hop profile with pronounced fruit tones and restrained bitterness. The finish is clean and lightly bitter, keeping the beer refreshing and easy to drink. This NEIPA demonstrates that New England's signature blend of fruit-forward character and haze works well in a lower-alcohol format. Best served around 5°C.
