Judas is a Belgian strong blonde ale from Alken-Maes, a signature beer since 1986 in the Maes brewery's range. Brewed with top fermentation and bottle-conditioned, this beer presents itself as a full, ochre-blonde ale with layered complexity. The nose reveals sweet malt alongside fruity notes of apple and banana, complemented by yeasty character and subtle floral hop aromas. On the palate, malty sweetness combines with dried fruit, honey and vanilla, while the alcohol warmth is present but restrained. The overall impression is bitter-sweet and full-bodied. The finish is dry and clean with a lingering aftertaste. Carbonation is lively without heaviness.
