Gulpener Bier van Verse Hop is a bottom-fermented lager from Gulpener Bierbrouwerij, the independent family brewery in Gulpen brewing since 1825. The beer was created to deliver enhanced hop aroma, brewed with fresh hops sourced from the hop field at Reijmerstok.

An unfiltered dark lager at 6% ABV, it presents aromas of grain, hay and bread with grassy notes. On the palate, light sweetness gives way to a long, moderate to medium bitter finish.

The beer follows the tradition of German Dortmund-style lagers: lightly malty with pronounced hop character at its core.
