Gulpener Dort is an authentic Limburgian beer rooted in the German Dortmunder tradition. First brewed in 1953 by the independent family brewery Gulpener in Gulpen, this amber-coloured lager draws on four different malts and two aromatic hop varieties.

On the nose, sweetish malt gives way to complex roasted aromas with subtle caramel notes. The palate is full-bodied and aromatic, with honey and grain character balanced by a dry, hoppy finish. This is a characterful beer that stands on its own, distinguished by its substantial body and restrained bitterness.
