Impresario is a New England IPA from Fuerst Wiacek, the Berlin brewery that brewed Germany's first commercially available Hazy IPA in 2016. This beer displays the style's characteristic hazy golden-orange appearance and creamy head. The nose is fresh and aromatic, with tropical and citrus notes—pomelo and red grapefruit lead the way. On the palate, it is soft and juicy with a clean finish, the fruit-forward hop character taking centre stage without aggressive bitterness. Brewery co-founders Georg Fürst and Lukasz Wiacek met at a climbing gym in Berlin and began homebrewing on weekends. Their passion for hop-forward, modern beers has grown into a respected craft operation. Impresario, dry-hopped with Mosaic, Ekuanot and Simcoe, showcases their command of American hop varieties.
