Great Minds BA is an ambitious collaboration between Frontaal, Bravoure and Folkingebrew. This Imperial Stout was brewed on Frontaal's brand-new brewing equipment and then matured in both bourbon and French brandy barrels. The bourbon casks were pre-filled with maple syrup, creating the foundation for a harmonious blend of sweet and warming character. The combination of both barrel types creates a balance between the vanilla and toffee notes from bourbon aging and the deeper, more complex character of brandy barrel finishing. This is a full-bodied, intensely aromatic stout with the power and structure expected from an Imperial Stout.
