This small craft brewery in Moen near Zwevegem has been crafting distinctive beers since 2002, treating wood as an active ingredient in its creations. This 6.3% ABV smoked beer marries dark roasted malts with subtle smoke character. The aroma opens with roasted notes, burnt caramel, and hints of oak. On the palate, dark malt richness meets burnt caramel and gentle spice, balanced by floral and citrus touches. The finish is dry and well-composed. Alvinne has earned its reputation for unconventional brewing and the use of its proprietary Morpheus yeast strain, giving its beers a distinctive edge.
