Gulpener Gladiator is a robust strong lager at 10% ABV, first presented in 1996 and brewed by Gulpener in cooperation with Grolsch in Enschede, Netherlands. This bottom-fermented beer showcases a full, sweet malt character with a warming alcohol presence characteristic of its style.

The palate reveals sweet malt with caramel notes and a dry, hoppy finish. Medium-bodied with reasonable carbonation, it delivers a crisp conclusion despite its elevated strength. The malt bill of pilsner, caramel and colour malts creates a balanced profile that bridges sweetness and bitterness.
