This ambitious eisbock emerged from a collaboration between Utrecht's vandeStreek and Estonia's Pühaste breweries. Brewed as a classic doppelbock, the beer was then ice-distilled to amplify its malty sweetness before spending six months maturing in American bourbon barrels.

The result is a complex 17.2% ABV expression that embraces the contrast between bourbon and malt. The nose reveals bourbon, liquorice and malt character. On the palate, soft malty sweetness meets subtle bitterness and liquorice notes, anchored by warming alcohol. A full, rich finish carries bourbon-barrel influence.
