Phase Three Brewing Company is a craft brewery rooted in the Chicagoland area of Illinois, United States. The brewery was founded as a culmination of everything its three founders learned collectively throughout their careers in the brewing industry, bringing that shared knowledge and passion together into a single, thoughtfully crafted operation. Phase Three initially contract-brewed its beers at Lake Zurich Brewing Company before eventually acquiring that facility, giving the brewery a permanent home to grow from. Phase Three has built a strong reputation as one of the most exciting breweries in the Chicagoland region, with a portfolio that leans heavily into hop-forward styles. The brewery is particularly known for its New England and Hazy IPAs, as well as bold Imperial and Double IPAs that push the boundaries of aroma and bitterness. Beers like Pixel, a 6.5% ABV Hazy IPA, and Terpasaurus, a 9% ABV Double IPA, are strong examples of the brewery's signature approach to hop expression and beer craftsmanship.
