Camden Town Brewery was founded by Jasper Cuppaidge, the Australian owner of The Horseshoe pub in Hampstead, North London. The brewery started full production in 2010, growing rapidly to become one of the largest craft breweries in the United Kingdom within just five years. In December 2015, Camden Town Brewery was acquired by global drinks giant Anheuser-Busch InBev, marking a significant milestone in the brewery's history and expanding its reach across Europe, including cities like Paris and Stockholm.
